Michelle Hatfield is a dancer, creative movement instructor and founder of Movemefree. Since 2000, she has empowered individuals through her dance classes, creative movement series and development workshops. She uses movement as a process to further integrate the emotional, cognitive, social and physical aspects of the whole person, building confident and compassionate individuals. Movemefree employs dance as well as drama exercises, poetry and spoken word to improve self-esteem, coping ability, health, creative self-expression, self-awareness and communication skills. She works with a variety of populations from corporate to private, general public, early childhood, learning disabled and behaviorally challenged and promotes a kinesthetic learning approach for all ages. Michelle is committed to inspiring others to awaken movement within, build group cohesion, heal from trauma, overcome adversity and cultivate community through creative dance.
