Catherine C. Loomis, Ph.D., C.B.S.M.
Dr. Loomis specializes in the area of Behavioral Sleep Medicine. She uses cognitive-behavioral therapy to treat insomnia. The first step is a thorough discussion of your sleep and general health. Then, Dr. Loomis will help you make certain changes to how you approach sleep. This may include adjusting your sleep schedule or changing what you do when you can't sleep. This method of treatment is recommended by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Loomis also treats chronic nightmares, extreme "night owl" or "morning lark" tendencies, and difficulty adjusting to CPAP treatment for sleep apnea.
